Family Literacy GED® Program

The Children First Family Literacy Program is a comprehensive, one-stop family literacy program that includes preparation for the GED® test series for adults while providing onsite childcare. 
 

GED® Class Information

  • Morning and evening classes available
    • Only one day per week
      • Monday morning: 9:00 – Noon
      • Monday evening: 5:15 – 8:15 pm
  • In-class learning environment
    • Learn with others who share similar goals and challenges
  • Laptop Use Program for qualified students
  • Onsite day-care is available
  • Classes are free
  • Enrollment is currently open
Summer 2024 Session:
  • June 10th-July 31st, 2024
  • Monday/Wednesday, 9:00-11:00am

Each class includes:
  • Adult Education/GED® Test Series Preparation
  • Onsite childcare as available

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Parent must be 18 ½ years of age. Parent must have at least one child age 10 or under who will accompany them to programming. Parent must test at an appropriate reading level for GED® instruction.

Registration/Testing/Fees:
  • Contact Carleen Jeanquart at Literacy Green Bay to sign up for TABE testing or for more information. $25 registration/testing fee due at the time of enrollment.
